1. Who we are

This website, www.hedge4.com, and the Hedge4 software are operated by:

We are the controller responsible for your personal data under the GDPR. Protecting your privacy matters to us, and we process personal data only in accordance with applicable law.

2. What data we collect

• Free trial & contact forms: your email address, first and last name, country and any message you send us.
• Purchases: the billing and payment details needed to complete your order. Card and payment-account processing is handled by our payment providers — we do not store full card numbers.
• Support correspondence: emails and messages you exchange with us, kept to document and improve our service.
• Technical & usage data: where you consent, cookies and analytics collect information such as a shortened (anonymised) IP address, device/browser type and pages visited.

3. Why we process it, and our legal bases

• To provide the service you request (trial, licence, support) — performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• To operate the site securely and prevent fraud or abuse — our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Analytics and marketing (Google Analytics, Google Ads) — only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you give via our cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.
• To meet legal obligations such as accounting and tax record-keeping (Art. 6(1)(c)).

4. Cookies & analytics

We use only necessary cookies to run the site by default. With your consent we additionally use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads to understand traffic and measure advertising, with IP anonymisation enabled. Analytics and advertising cookies load only after you accept them in our cookie banner; if you reject non-essential cookies, they are not set. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by clearing the site's stored preference, and you can manage cookies in your browser settings.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, under appropriate data-processing terms — for example our form/email delivery provider, bot-protection provider (Cloudflare), payment providers, and Google for analytics/advertising. We may also disclose data where legally required by a competent authority, or in connection with a business transfer, in which case any successor remains bound by this policy.

6. International transfers

Some providers (e.g. Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, invoicing records for the statutory retention period). Trial and contact enquiries are deleted once they are no longer needed.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Romania, the ANSPDCP). To exercise any right, contact us at info@hedge4.com or info@trademaster.ro. We may be required to keep certain data even after a deletion request where the law obliges us to.

9. Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit and access controls on a need-to-know basis — to protect your data. Please keep any account password confidential; we will never ask you for it by email.

We may update this policy as our services evolve. The current version is always published here; material changes take effect after they are posted.
